Pharmacist

• Full Time

• Evening Shift Pharmacist, every other weekend with variable shifts, as needed.

As a Pharmacist at Physicians Regional Healthcare System you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best, providing quality care to our patients! Requirements:

• Education: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• A licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida.
• PGY1 residency or a minimum of three (3) years of clinical hospital experience, preferred.

About the job:

• Provides safe and effective drug therapy management to improve the outcomes of patients.

• Works centrally and de-centrally to perform all functions of a Registered Pharmacist including clinical interactions with the health care team, patient care monitoring, accurate dispensing and supervisory of the pharmacy technicians

• Consults with physicians and nursing staff to ensure the best patient care and evidenced based medicine.

• Ensures that the physician's orders are evidenced based and that the best pharmaceutical therapy is initiated appropriately.

• Provides educational services to patients and healthcare professionals

• Participates in the training of new pharmacist, residents, students and technicians
