The Pharmacist Educator is an integral part in CoxHealth's Pharmacy Team ongoing mission to provide high-quality care and support to patients. This individual is primarily responsible for initial training and mentoring new pharmacists and developing/promoting professional development opportunities for staff pharmacists. A secondary function is working on a floating-basis as a staff pharmacist (process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies, etc.) in all hospital locations across the system. * Job Requirements * Education*

Required:

Bachelors in Pharmacy- Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy * Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy- Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency * Experience*

Required: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training * Preferred: 2+ years' experience as a pharmacist within CoxHealth * Strongly preferred: teaching certificate or at least one year experience * Skills*

Good verbal and written communication skills * Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams * Strong mentoring and teaching abilities, fostering an environment of learning and growth * Licensure/Certification/Registrati
on*

Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist * Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire * Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
