Position Specific Description

This job leads technicians and analysts in assuring optimization of our Warranty Program across the Renewable Energy Fleet. Employees in this role are responsible for ensuring operational support is provided related to warrantable events. Driving OEM accountability leveraging warranty contracts, managing top issues and serial defects at a commercial level, and provides report outs to executive leadership on Warranty Program metrics across the fleet. The role requires a strong collaboration with CM Planning & Execution, Business Services, Operations, and Integrated Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

• Escalates top issues with OEMs and drives resolution

• Manages ClaimTrax our internal claim management system

• Supports operations in claim management from submission to approval

• Works with OEMs to drive targeted return to services times of down units

• Prepares and distributes monthy reports on warranty team metrics to leadership

• Supports End of Warranty Process and Serial Defect Negotiations with OEMs

• Collaborates effectively with colleagues from all departments

• Leads and executes process improvement projects using Six Sigma principles

• Manages internal controls processes and identifies and mitigates control weaknesses relating to month end deliverables

• Extracts, organizes, analyzes, and reports data in a manner that is useful and relevant for making business decisions

• Develops broad technical and communication skills through self-study and internal and external training opportunities

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
