• Must have a Bachelor's degree and 2.5 GPA

• Texas Administrative Code states you must have a degree that is accredited by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board

• Employees must be in good standing with the district, with no evidence of disciplinary concerns or excessive absenteeism

• Must be accepted into the approved Alternative Certification Program

• Continued eligibility for program is contingent on the employee retaining his/her employment for three contracted service years

• While in the ACP the expectation is to maintain good standing with the ACP and complete all requirements under the program guidelines

• Application must be submitted, unsubmitted applications will not be considered
