As a growing petroleum carrier company, we are looking for 1st shift and 2nd Shift fuel tuck delivery drivers in the Metro Atlanta area. The candidate must have a CDL-A license with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement. The candidate must also have a clean driving record and must be able to work well independently.

$2,500 Signing Bonus

(Daily Pay: $300 to $350 per day)


  • At least 23 Years of age

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Under general supervision, performs work at a full working level in one of the planning sections. * Duties may include: Analyzing financial data, project programming, and project prioritization methodologies; database management and database querying; analyzing state planning documents and coordinating with other planning branches to ensure accuracy of data; * Preparing presentations for executive management and public meetings; coaching junior staff; managing internal and external consultants; contract management and schedule tracking; * Business Intelligence research and results formatting; coordination with GDOT offices and external partners across the state; reviewing existing plans and programs for relevance to the Statewide Strategic Transportation Plan. * Performing work at a full working level in the planning and analysis of transportation systems; * Conducting multimodal transportation planning studies for rural and/or small urban areas or assisting local governments in developing, maintaining and implementing transportation plans for larger urban areas.; * Manages multiple types of contracts and studies, including planning services contracts with statewide or regional level scope Acts as project manager or deputy project manager for transportation planning studies. * All activities will include alignment with core planning responsibilities and the Statewide Strategic Transportation Plan/Statewide Transportation Plan (SSTP/SWTP). * Responsible for the analysis of existing financial data, as well as forecasting/projections of future financial resources used to develop short-range and long-range spending plans. * Position will work in the Office of Planning in the Strategic and Systems Planning or the Capital Region Section. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The selected candidate must meet the advertised minimum qualifications to include the Entry Qualifications as well as Agency Specific Qualifications. STATE ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience in transportation‐related work * OR One year of experience required at the lower level Transport Planning Spec 1 (TRP060) or position equivalent. AGENCY SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Planning, Urban Planning, Traffic Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or a related degree. * One year in managing and/or coordinating transportation, city, urban planning, or related field. * Two years of experience in managing and/or coordinating transportation, city, urban planning, or related field. * Possesses strong oral communication skills, with experience expressing ideas and facts to individuals or groups effectively. * Experience working and communicating with managers, coworkers, and external personnel in a professional, cooperative manner. * Experience making sound and well-informed decisions. * Experience developing new, effective methods and procedures where existing methods and procedures are inapplicable or are unavailable. * Experience effectively managing own priorities setting well-defined and realistic personal goals. * Maintains a high standard of ethical conduct. * Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office. * Ability to effectively apply new knowledge and skills in work to adapt quickly to change. * Ability to motivate and promote teamwork. * Ability to lead people and get results through others. * Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. * Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. * Strong customer orientation. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. AGENCY PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS: * Master's Degree from an accredited college or university * Experience performing and managing transportation studies for a city, county, or other geographical area. * One or more years of work experience in analyzing data for the purposes of determining forecast data. * Experience with and understanding forecasting data. * Experience gathering, interpreting, and summarizing information for the purpose of writing technical reports/documents as well as presentations including editing. * Business intelligence software experience as applied to financial analysis * 411 and Qlik experience * Familiarity with GDOT's TPRO database * One or more years of work experience working within a State or Federal Agency performing similar roles and responsibilities. * Experience with creating or managing project databases * One or more years of work experience developing planning studies * Experience with public involvement * Familiarity with various software such as GIS, Excel and others. * Possesses one or more years of work experience in analyzing traffic data for the purposes of determining forecast data. NOTE: This position requires statewide travel with occasional overnight stay.
