Being Age 55 or Older is Good for The Environment! The Senior Environmental
Employment (SEE) Program offers unique opportunities in Scientific, Technical,
and Administrative / Office support for individuals age 55 and over to support
the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a grant administered program
through National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions). This is a
unique program where your talents, expertise and experience will truly be
valued. You'll be working side-by-side with EPA staff that are doing important
work every day. Benefits: Paid Health Insurance Premium when working over 60
hours in 2 week pay period, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Time, Paid Federal Holidays

This position requires a background security check including 5 year
questionnaire, fingerprinting and identification verification prior to start.
Please note that due to EPA Policy, this opportunity only applies to United
States Citizens. Local applicants only. Must live within local commuting
distance and able to work onsite as scheduled.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Environmental science, quality assurance,
quality compliance, application tracking/review OR BA/BS Degree in Environmental
science/policy, Biology, Chemistry

Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS
SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, Adobe
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
Duties:

Incumbent is involved in all aspects of the registration of antimicrobial
products including tracking applications, reviewing applications, and emailing
the Agency?s responses to the applications. The individual will also handle
special projects associated with antimicrobial pesticides.

Review applications for new and amended registrations with includes
evaluating /summarizing science reviews and/or risk assessments as well as
evaluating the label and Confidential Statements of Formula to ensure compliance
with FIFRA, 40 CFR Part 150-189, and labeling guidance. Prepares letters
communicating the Agency?s regulatory decision for the Team Leader?s
signature. 75%
Conducts Quality Assurance/Quality Compliance reviews on Registration
Notices/Agency letters with stamped accepted labels before they are uploaded to
the Pesticide Products Labeling System website. 15%
Schedules, facilitates, and/or participates in meetings with registrants and
Agency scientists on new and pending applications with the Agency. 5%
Works on special projects associated with antimicrobial pesticides. 5%
