Pest Control Technician

Our company has experienced exponential growth by providing excellent service – and now we need YOU We are currently seeking candidates who are communicative, results-oriented and have a passion for learning and delivering outstanding customer service.

If you are that special combination, we would be excited to support you with paid training, (both computer and out-in-the-field), assisting you to complete the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s registered technician exam in order to earn your license. If you already hold a license, we know you have a choice of who you’d like to work with – we'd love to discuss your experience, what makes you tick and where you see yourself in the future. This position is extremely physical and you should be able to do what most people cannot.

Candidates should be able to bend, stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift 60 pounds and be comfortable on a ladder within the manufacturer’s weigh capacity. No two days are ever alike and you will not be tied to a desk. Candidates will need:

High School Diploma or GED and must be at least 21 years old Valid driver’s license and good driving record Discipline and drive to exceed expectations in the workplace Ability to communicate with Clients and team members in a clear, informative and respectful manner Ability to work independently in the field Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to read and comprehend instructions when using and mixing product Possess outstanding time management and organizational skills Ability to maintain an organized, clean, well-stocked work vehicle Duties: Communicate with residential and commercial Clients regarding any pest activity and/or issues they have observed prior to inspection and treatment Complete careful, thorough inspections for signs of pests and conducive conditions Identify and assess pest activity/infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively Advise Clients on pest prevention measures and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and customer interactions Physical job requirements to safely perform the job duties: Ability to use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity Proper use of safety equipment and PPE Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, (i.e., stooping, kneeling, crawling, etc.) Ability to work in all types of weather conditions We strive to go above and beyond to provide our Clients with outstanding results and we know that comes from YOU To help you succeed, we provide the best software hand-held reporting tools, the smartest equipment, the safest and most effective products available on the market today and scheduling completed by our office with your input/feedback.
