The Position
Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
This position is a Human Resources Analyst II with the Division of Human Resource Management in Carson City, NV. This position is responsible for the audit and approval of both Central Records and Central Payroll documents; conducting system-audits and providing assistance with HRIS troubleshooting; assisting internal and external parties with Statute and Regulation interpretation and application; conducting research and analysis for each assigned section, to include developing and recording quarterly performance metrics and analyzing bi-weekly system-generated reporting mechanisms; and assisting in the training and development of Human Resource and Pay Clerk professionals both internally and externally.
