Personal Trust Officer

Fosters positive customer/client relations
Administers Trust, IRA and Investment Management Accounts
Serves as the primary client relationship manager and point of contact
Responsible for overseeing all activity regarding client accounts to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
Conducts group and individual client presentations and review meetings
Works with Bank Presidents, Customer Service Officers and Lenders in soliciting referrals
Assists with other job related duties and special projects as requested

Basic working knowledge of investments and banking
Knowledge of trusts, IRA, or retirement plans helpful
General tax knowledge
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Trust preferred, but not required
Knowledge of the Bank's organization, policies, and procedures and systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications
Ability to use independent judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
Excellent analytical skills
Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at a time
Brokerage or investment experience is helpful, but not required
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Constant use of computer screens
Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday
Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10 pounds
