As an Onboarding Specialist you will deliver the 4 week Ultimate Onboarding package to new members. You will also assist our members by educating, delivering, and connecting their interests & goals to our industry leading strategy of the Core 3 and Life Time amenities. As a team member of the Life Time Training division, you are able to advance your career in the fitness industry by providing your expertise and gaining experience in the following areas:

KNOW IT- Comprehensive Assessments

Education, testing, and technology to help our members' know how their unique bodies work.

(Examples: Lab Testing, Metabolic Assessments, Devices, Activity Monitors, myHealthScore)

NOURISH IT- Personalized Nutrition and Lifestyle

Professional advice, products and strategies to fuel and enrich our members' healthy way of life.

(Examples: Nutrition Coaching, Nutritional Products, Supplements, Registered Dietitians)

MOVE IT- Customized Workouts

Activities, events, and programs to keep our members' engaged in healthy and entertaining ways.

(Examples: Private Training, Weight Loss, Metabolic Coaching, TEAM Classes, Pilates)

Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver 4 week onboarding service to new members (16 1:1 PT and 11 TEAM per month) This includes:

  • Discovery Consultation

  • Health Score

  • Metabolic Assessment

  • Calendar/Plan for New Member

  • Nutrition Coaching Session

  • Two 1:1 PT Sessions or TEAM Intro

  • Weekly Follow Up Calls

  • Post Consultation

Develop and deliver safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs to ensure members are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal health and fitness goals.

Promote Life Time Training services, supplements, and technology.

Promote 1:1 PT package or TEAM Program after 4 week introduction period.

Attend and participate in PT Department, All Club, One-on-One meetings, and Huddles.

Complete and pass all assigned Life Time University courses.


Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Four-year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine or other related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of Personal Training experience preferred

  • 1-2 years of Life Time experience preferred

  • Program design experience required

  • Customer service experience required

  • Proven success in onboarding and connecting new members (PT MER)

  • Competent & Confident is promoting our CORE 3 Method (RBC Mix)

  • Current and compliant with LT Education (Learning Well Compliance)

Licenses / Certifications/ Registrations

Certified Personal Trainer (Minimum of One Certification):

  • CPR/AED Certification within 6 months of hire

The Trainer role is primarily responsible for the delivery of functional and soft skills content to various audiences in the Finance organization. In addition, the trainer partners with seed campus personnel (e.g., Instructional Designer) to develop or update trainings to meet new or changing organizational needs. As needed, the trainer prepares and coordinates all aspects of training and events including facility, logistics, equipment, materials and supplies. The coordination may include scheduling instructors and speakers; providing on-site setup and support during events; administering course evaluations and certificates; and performing event closeout and tear down. Training Delivery & Development (80%) * Provide advanced facilitation skills and classroom management techniques to deliver functional and soft skill topics/content * Provide feedback to seed campus staff and assist in the updating existing content, based on learning feedback and measurement Training Coordination (10%) * Source course locations and negotiate applicable agreements for course sites, including physical locations, needed audio/visual equipment, catering, and room set up * Provide physical on-site and day-of support for classroom offerings and troubleshoot issues related to course as they occur * Prepare and deliver communications to instructors and participants including training dates, locations, enrollment information, transportation and other necessary enrollment information * Assist with schedules and enrollment tracking using LMS and other tracking methods, as required * Prepare, print and deliver to other instructors (prior to classes) evaluations, sign-in sheets, certificates of completion and other required materials * Lead room set-up and tear-down activities including signage, classroom and meeting space floor planning, registration desk, and dining arrangements * Arrange transportation and shipping of materials and supplies to training sites * Order and restock all classroom materials, training aids, supplies and awards * Maintain inventory records for stored training materials, supplies and equipment and restocks as necessary * Assist participants with hotel accommodations and recommendations * Organize and schedule ground transportation with participants including itineraries and schedules Training Materials (5%) * Prepare, print and assemble training materials including participant guides, training handouts, job aids training charts, name tags, and other materials prior to courses, as required * Communicate with vendors to ensure that training materials are published and printed according to clear instructions within required time frames * Check publications for accuracy and quality control * Ship training publications and materials to training locations as required Budgets & Reporting (5%) * Monitor and communicate budgeted and non-budgeted expenditures to ensure that training costs do not exceed allocated funds and assists in budget preparation and submission including all training costs * Prepare and compile course attendance sign-in sheets and course evaluations * Maintain training records including attendance records and evaluation results Your profile * Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Training & Development, Organizational Development, HR, or related discipline, preferred * Two or more years training development and delivery experience in a corporate environment is required * Requires a high level of customer service and professionalism while working in stressful situations * Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical themes between vendors, staff, and participants * Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required * Knowledge of and experience with learning management systems (LMS), preferred * Ability to manage workload and deliver programs with minimal supervision and maintain high degree of proficiency while traveling * Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills * Motivated self- starter, who can effectively prioritize, multi-task and manage to accomplish objectives within deadlines * Strong organizational skills and follow-through; and the ability to take responsibility and consistently meet deadlines * Ability to develop good working relationships and effectively team with others, internal and external * Excellent judgment, strict adherence to confidentiality requirements and the utmost professionalism in all situations * Ability to work towards department goals with sense of teamwork and necessary urgency * Positive attitude that reflects well on the organization and the company * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Our offer to you Collaboration Respect, recognition and appreciation of the contribution of everyone.
