Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital Wellness Center is hiring a Personal Trainer- Flexi Schedule

Sentara RMH Medical Center, a Magnet designated hospital located in Harrisonburg VA, serves a seven-county area with a population of 218,000 residents. The 238-bed community hospital partnered with the Sentara Healthcare system in May of 2011. Sentara RMH features the RMH Hahn Cancer Center, a state of the art center equipped with the latest cancer fighting technologies available in the nation.

Job Summary

Personal trainers welcome new members and guest and partner with clients to evaluate their needs and goals and collaboratively implement safe effective individualized workout plans based on physical abilities, preferences and desired outcomes. Personal Trainers assist members with questions and equipment and actively participate in their clients individual workout journeys. Trainers work to achieve optimal client results by scheduling training sessions, designing workout plans and maintaining training space and equipment. Trainers are responsible for communicating improvement opportunities with the Fitness Manager, participating in team building and growth activities, and working with all of the Wellness team to facilitate the best possible member and guest experience

Qualifications:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification- American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
