As a Personal Trainer with Life Time Training, you will assist our members by educating, delivering, and connecting them to our industry leading strategy of the Core 3. The power of Core 3 is our unmatched ability to address all areas of our members' health and fitness needs to achieve optimal results. As a team member of the Life Time Training division, you are able to advance your career in the fitness industry by providing your expertise and gaining experience in the following areas:

KNOW IT- Comprehensive Assessments

Education, testing, and technology to help our members' know how their unique bodies work.

(Examples: Lab Testing, Metabolic Assessments, Devices, Activity Monitors, myHealthScore)

NOURISH IT- Personalized Nutrition and Lifestyle

Professional advice, products and strategies to fuel and enrich our members' healthy way of life.

(Examples: Nutrition Coaching, Nutritional Products, Supplements, Registered Dietitians)

MOVE IT- Customized Workouts

Activities, events, and programs to keep our members' engaged in healthy and entertaining ways.

(Examples: Private Training, Weight Loss, Metabolic Coaching, TEAM Classes, Pilates)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs to ensure members are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal health and fitness goals

  • Promote and sell Life Time Training services, supplements, and technology

  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding monthly revenue and session goals.

  • Attend and participate in PT Department, All Club, and One-on-One meetings

  • Complete and pass all assigned Life Time University courses

  • Fulfill Member Service requirements: (up to 25 hours per week)

o Fitness Assessments & Equipment Orientations

o Service Desk

o Facilitate Seminars

o Fitness Equipment Cleaning

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Four-year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine or other related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of Personal Training experience preferred

  • Program design experience preferred

Licenses / Certifications/ Registrations

  • Certified Personal Trainer (Minimum of One Certification):

o ACE, ACTION, AAPTE, ACSM, CSCCa, Cooper Institute, ISSA, NASM, NCCPT, NCSF, NESTA, NETA, NFPT, NSCA, PTA Global, LT Academy

  • CPR/AED Certification within 6 months of hire

Compensation

  • Competitive Commission Structure

o 50-60% Total Commission (Sales & Services)

You will utilize superior customer service skills to respond to client requests in methods that exceed their expectation. Serve as "inside" technical expert and client advocate with the carrier/TPAs/vendors. You'll be responsible for managing the client and prospect needs by proactively initiating communication and/or resolution through introductory calls (introducing client to their service team, administrative procedures, and contact information), pro-active semi-annual service calls, and frequent updates during the life of an issue, client specific vendor evaluation, and/or program support. The Details: * Resolves and answers any client problem or question by being an "inside" technical expert and a client advocate with the carrier/vendors. Solve or advise on practical problems faced by clients and/or prospects in the areas of insurance. Deals with clients on routine, sensitive or urgent topics and be able to provide answers and advice either immediately or within a reasonable period of time. Interprets a variety of insurance laws, regulations, policies, procedures and convey the information to clients either directly or through written communication. * Maintains client and policy information in the customer management system. Which includes new business production and renewal plan documents. Anticipates client needs and proactively initiates communication and/or resolution through introductory calls (introducing the client to their service team, administrative procedures, and contact information), pro-active semi-annual service calls (reviewing recent services, upcoming seminars/webinars, use of their technical services, etc.), and frequent updates during the life of an issue, client specific vendor evaluations, and/or program support. * Tracks and manages new business/rewrite submissions through the insurance company underwriting process. Provides support and assistance to Consultants including, assisting with client service issues brought to the Consultant's attention; keeping the Consultant informed of insurance company underwriting procedures; setting appointments to meet with clients on renewals; obtaining claims experience reports and maintaining client files. * Backs up other Account Managers position in the department or agency personnel as appropriate.
