If you answered yes to all the questions above, then you should know Congressional Country Club is seeking a Personal Trainer. The Personal Trainer assists members in the fitness center and conducts personal training sessions for Members of the Congressional Country Club.

What will be expected of you:

• Trains the Membership in Physical Fitness Programs

• Performs required Floor Time and Front Desk Duties as required by the Director of Fitness

• Greets the Membership upon entering the Fitness Center and answers phones

• Addresses any questions/concerns of the Membership

• Cleans and maintains equipment as required by the Director of Fitness

• Picks up towels and miscellaneous items found out of place in the Fitness Center

• Maintains a professional and courteous manner at all times

• Schedules and confirms training appointments with the Membership daily

• Compiles, tallies, and submits charge slips and hours of work daily

• Ensures all activities and exercise prescriptions in the Fitness Center are administered according to American College of Sports Medicine guidelines

• Participates in Fitness Department activities/programs/events

How we determine your qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as a personal trainer, preferred

• CPR certification, preferred

• National recognized fitness training certification, required

• Group X experience is a plus

• Working one day on the weekend is required for this role
