Personal Lines Account Manager

The role of the account manager is to participate in the production of new and renewal business and to provide a high level of client service to new and existing clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day to day account responsibilities and successfully perform production of new business and renewal process for existing accounts. Day to day duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform administrative account management duties such as resolving client problems, responding to client requests, monitoring client insurance program for possible changes, completing applications, billing, resolving collection problems, corresponding with carriers, coordinating and following up on audits, attending carrier meetings, review renewal reports and supporting producers with placement of new business.

• Market new business and renewal business via online rating platforms or through Epic marketing segment.

• Provide input and support in order to develop and execute a marketing strategy.

• Successful performance of assigned duties.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Develop effective proposals and make presentations to close new accounts/renewals

• Positive relationships with client contacts.

• Initiative and creative thinking in decision making and problem resolution situations when performing job duties.

• Effective delegation to support staff.

• Maintenance of Company information in a confidential manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Two or more years of Insurance experience

• Current Nevada Property and Casualty License

• Experience with Applied Epic management system preferred but not required
