Personally handle a file load of personal injury and medical malpractice cases Extensive client interaction including intake and subsequent communications Prepare demands and negotiate successful resolutions on behalf of clients Attend and advocate for clients at depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trial Independently research, interpret and apply legal principles in the context of motion practice and litigation Attend and participate in weekly team meetings relating to the evaluation and advancement of injury and malpractice cases Work collaboratively with senior attorneys, junior attorneys, and paralegals in litigating complex medical negligence and serious injury cases Active involvement in all phases of client representation from intake, initial office conferences, case development, demand, negotiation, and resolution Job Details 5 years in legal practice Experience in Personal Injury Litigation, Complex Litigation, and/or Medical Malpractice Litigation Fully licensed to practice law in Rhode Island Licensing in Massachusetts, and/or Connecticut is a plus Interested in hearing more?
