SUMMARY#OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position) Responsible for attending to the daily living and safety needs of participants. Responsible for assisting the Nursing staff by performaing various Participant Care activities and related non-professional services within the ADHC.
Responsible for providing PACE PCA Orientation to new Personal Care staff. Assist with Observation and continued training of PCA team. Strong organizational skills.
Able to multi-task. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in Complete Health With Pace Mission and Values. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience High School Diploma or GED.
Personal Care Aide certification is required. Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide with current credentials will be deemed qualified. If certification is not currently held, Applicant must be willing to obtain certification through PACE sponsored PCA Training Program.
Personal Care experience preferred. Must have minimum experience of one year working with the frail and elderly population. Must be medically cleared of communicable diseases and up to date with immunizations.
