The major duties of this job involve achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the bank and its strategic goals. As a Banking Center Group Manager, you will lead several banking centers in providing an exceptional client experience that delivers a variety of financial service solutions to our clients resulting in greater market share, wallet share and profitability for the bank. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including recruiting top talent while driving increased performance of the existing teams through training and coaching in the pursuit of small business and consumer clients for the bank.

You will have responsibility for you and your team to achieve specific sales and service goals by providing a full range of business banking services to clients with an emphasis on deposit, treasury management and loan products.

This job encompasses individual, group and human resource management across a diverse geography and requires a leadership style that is firm, goal oriented and engages others to be motivated. You will actively participate and represent our Bank in the community.

Additionally, Banking Center Group Manager's are expected to adhere to the bank's operational compliance, audit and security policies, build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Serving as a leader, you will work towards reinforcing and improving the performance of your team to ensure results that surpass the internal and external standard of excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education and related work experience

  • 5 years progressive experience in supervisory or management experience

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and NBH's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents

  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent years of on the job experience
  • 7+ years progressive experience in consumer, credit management or consulting

Desired Qualifications: Ideal candidates for this position should possess some or all of the following qualifications:

  • Treasury Management sales experience

  • Consumer lending background and business lending experience

  • Bilingual language skills

  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of risk management

  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to speak effectively to internal and external clients

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately

  • Ability to think logically in order to analyze situations and make sound decisions

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Banking specific systems

  • Ability to promote and generate cooperation among business partners and peers to achieve a collective outcome while fostering the development of a common vision

  • Strength in improving and reinforcing the performance of others through the facilitation of skill development using feedback that builds confidence and maintains self-esteem
