The Personal Banker II is responsible for opening new deposit accounts (DDA and time) and follow up with customers to ensure that everything related to that account (debit card, online banking, etc) is working as promised. Ensure that all account documentation is provided accurately and quickly to Deposit Operations.
Generate consumer/retail loans that best suit the needs of the customer. Ensure that all loan documentation is provided accurately and quickly to Loan Operations. Work, as needed, on the teller line assisting customers with financial transactions.
Assist customers with questions and proactively offer solutions to their banking needs. Notice referral opportunities and make customer referrals to the appropriate lines of business or products.
High School diploma or equivalent
Four years of bank teller experience or related bank experience
Proven record of outstanding customer service
Strong understanding of math principles such as debits and credits
Demonstrated proficiency using banking platforms and common office software and systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to sit in front of a computer for extended periods of time
