Personal Assistant

Youth Consultation Service (YCS) is a behavioral health and social services agency that has been caring for at risk children and families since 1918 in therapeutic residences, special education schools, in-home and in-community programs throughout NJ.

CSAP Program (Crisis Stabilization and Assessment) at Winslow is a short-term intensive treatment home for adolescents with neurodevelopment/psychiatric/medical needs.

Assistants are expected to have a unique sensitivity to recognize and appropriately respond to clients who may have evidenced difficulties.

(We have flexible days to meet your needs for shifts and guidance by a wonderful psychiatric and medical support team.)

Duties include but not limited to:

• Document client observations and behaviors.

• Provide role modeling to adolescent population.

• Teach and interact with clients

• Provide recreation and promote socialization skills.

• Promote socialization skills.

• Observation and documentation of success along with identifying current or suggesting new therapeutic goals which may require attention by the treatment team

• Carrying out expected interventions

• Keep accurate and timely records.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license.

H.S. Diploma/G.E.D.

Bachelor's degree with one year experience or High school graduate (or equivalent) with 3 years of experience providing direct care to individuals with I/DD in a behavioral health or institutional setting.

Schedule: Monday-Friday or Saturday & Sunday (Flexible days)

Full time or Part time 7:00a-3:00p, 3:00p-11:00p, 11:00p-7:00a
