The personal assistant to Amanishakhete James, owner, founder, and CEO of Ancient Healing Teas, will provide high-level personal, household, organizational, and administrative support to both Amanishakete and Ancient Healing Teas. The personal assistant will ensure that they are able to efficiently fulfill key responsibilities, especially in regard to child care, while simultaneously adhering to company guidelines and procedures. They will be responsible for Amanishakhetes personal life.
The personal assistant will manage Amanishakhetes daily calendar, including scheduling meetings, confirming appointments, writing itineraries and arranging for transportation for both herself, and her young child. As the child gets older, she will not need as much in terms of potty training, however care for the child is essential for this position. Someone with child care experience is preferred. Flexibility is most important, candidates must be willing and able to work somewhere between 40-50 hours per week. Experience with cooking and maintaining a household is also preferred.
Candidates must maintain professionalism and dress professional and conservative, as they are representative of the Ancient Healing Teas brand, and Amanishakhete. Confidentiality, attention to detail, and organizational skills are also required for this position. Candidates must be available for international travel and have a passport.
Candidates will be trained by her current personal assistant, and will have a probationary period of about 90 days, before full-time employment is implemented. Some college and plant care experience is a plus.
