Sumner County Government is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Permitting Specialist in the Planning & Engineering Department. The purpose of this position is to assist the public and provide technical office support duties related to the processing and issuance of Planning, Zoning, and Stormwater Permits. Qualified applicants will possess excellent customer service skills as well as a combination of training and experience that will allow them to review and process various types of development related applications per established regulatory requirements.
