Perioperative Team Manager - Operating Room

The Perioperative Team Manager provides leadership and direction for a specific specialty team within the operating rooms and wherever the intraoperative care is delivered. They will support the Medical Center's Operating Room.

The OR is comprised of a 60/40 mix of registered nurses and surgical technicians. UCMC is a level 1 trauma center.

Our OR is a 25 room OR which includes a trauma room which is open 24/7, one cysto suite, a hybrid room for endoscopic hearts and a cath lab/OR for endovascular procedures. The remainder of the rooms are often high acuity patients undergoing surgery for various specialties. These rooms encompass Neurosurgery, Eyes, Ears, Oral, Spine, Orthopedic, Burns, plastic, podiatry, Transplant, vascular, GU, Robotics, General Surgery, thoracic, pulmonary, laparoscopic and gynecology.
