Plans, implements, and evaluates orientation activities and educational activities.
Develops and utilizes evaluative systems to determine effectiveness of educational programming and supports the selection process by defining and assessing skills and competencies.
Conducts research activities, plans and presents educational programs. Demonstrates new procedures and technology to ensure staff competence and promote growth in current practice.
Assesses and identifies staff learning needs. Serve as consultant to staff in other departments as needed.
Part time - 32 hours/week
BSN with current Connecticut State RN license.; MSN preferred
Must possess theoretical and clinical expertise in all specialties in the field of Operating Room Nursing
Minimum 10 years peri-operative nursing experience.
