This position plans, develops, coordinates, and implements staff development, continuing education, orientation, annual update, and competency evaluation processes including remediation of staff. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St.
Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St.
Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.
Four years of nursing experience with demonstrated progressive teaching and cummunications skills.
Experience in course design and presentation preferred
Master's degree in related field OR Master's degree in progress.
California R.N. License, ACLS, BLS, CNOR within 6 months of employment in the position
