Position Summary

The Performance Management Consultant II is responsible for creating business relationships with dealer principals, general managers, and all levels of dealership management through virtual and face-to-face client site visits. They will be a CDK DMS and layered application Subject Matter Expert (SME) for best practices and key metrics that support one complete dealership workflow (sales, parts, service, and accounting). Demonstrating and reviewing CDK services and capabilities, DMS utilization and product functionality according to structured agenda. Maintaining an ongoing business relationship with dedicated client base to expand on future opportunities following established consulting model and program.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

. Scheduling client visits or virtual sessions with assigned client base.

. Fully functioning contributor to team, client outcomes, sales relationships and goals, team projects, coaching and mentoring of new team members.

. Leveraging PM's structured action Item format for all visits and for scheduling and reporting.

. Promoting additional CDK products and services with clients while partnering and communicating with Sales on all client activities.

. Sustaining relationships with client base through regular follow-up and expected site visit or virtual session frequency.

. Coordinating resolution of any outstanding technical CDK Product issues with Support or other appropriate sources.

. Completing accurate agendas and reports within the required timeframes and managing client records in Salesforce.

. Assist and provide direction to other Performance Management Consultants as needed.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

. 4 year college degree or equivalent experience.

. 3 plus years automotive retail experience or twelve months experience as Performance Management Consultant I or related position.

. Strong computer skills with current technical knowledge, i.e., proficiency w/MS Office (Excel/PP).

. Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

. Adhere to all Travel and Expense policies, submission of weekly expense reports, eTime sign-off deadlines, mandated training, and other policy requirements.

. Travel up to 100%. Located near a major metro airport.


. CDK product knowledge.

. Knowledge of automotive, dealership workflow, and technology industries strongly preferred.

. Ability to work independently

The work product and thought leadership of this Medical Director influences network strategy, operational execution and payment innovation programs. Collaborates with and relates to internal stakeholders across the organization including health services, health plan CEOs, network, finance and quality/provider performance leadership. Partners with the Care Delivery Transformation (CDT) team by leading the design and development of national level interventions which drive performance in value-based care programs. Supports the Clinical Officer for Payment Innovation in design and development of practice transformation strategies and tools. These include data/analytics, action plans, clinical cost opportunity models and reports, and "Core Service Packages" which focus on specific elements. Guides and supports extensive evaluation of CDT partnerships. This work is in progress with a highly experienced evaluation team and needs additional thought leaders to build the optimal study design. Essential functions: * Provide clinical leadership in planning, design, development, and implementation of value based care models including those addressing primary care, specialty and ancillary care, inpatient facilities, and pharmacy services. * Represent Anthem externally with key stakeholders including providers, clients, media, and market thought leaders. * Serve as member of the leadership team for Provider Alignment Solutions * Lead, build, and grow relationships with practicing providers and administrative leaders to achieve an effective population health approach and successful cost and quality of care outcomes. * Analyze, synthesize and create action plans based on data, observations, and discussions with provider partners. * Inform and influence the Care Delivery Transformation and Provider Enablement Team in collaboration with the Staff Vice President to achieve the clinical consultative structure which enables provider success. * Provides expertise, captures and shares best practices across regions to provider partners as well as Anthem medical directors. * Engages with providers in joint operating committees and builds relationships with clinical leadership in provider collaboration groups. * Influences and partners with local market medical and financial leadership to ensure appropriate level of focus on performance of providers in the program. * Drives strategies around cost of care and analytic tools and reporting. * M.D. or D.O * Board certification approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties required where applicable to duties being performed. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in leading physician engagement, clinical strategy, and clinical transformation as it relates to value based care innovation. * Demonstrated experience with network development and relationships where collaboration across stakeholders was required to support value based care payment models. * Requires active, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine or a health profession. * Requires minimum 10 years medical practice experience after completing residency-training requirements for board eligibility. * Proficient in presenting technical and strategic information to multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders. * Masters preferred (MBA, MHA or equivalent degree); CPE or equivalent physician leadership training acceptable. * Approximately 30% travel required.
