This CDK Service Performance Management role will proactively communicate with dealership senior leaders, who have our strategic layered applications with a focus on improving utilization, customers results, performance and retention.
This position is specific to CDK Service/ Inspect and requires NO travel. Based out of Austin, TX office.
The Performance Management Consultant II is responsible for creating business relationships with dealer principals, general managers, and all levels of dealership management through virtual and face-to-face client site visits. They will be a CDK DMS and layered application Subject Matter Expert (SME) for best practices and key metrics that support one complete dealership workflow (sales, parts, service, and accounting). Demonstrating and reviewing CDK services and capabilities, DMS utilization and product functionality according to structured agenda. Maintaining an ongoing business relationship with dedicated client base to expand on future opportunities following established consulting model and program.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
. Scheduling client visits or virtual sessions with assigned client base.
. Fully functioning contributor to team, client outcomes, sales relationships and goals, team projects, coaching and mentoring of new team members.
. Leveraging PM's structured action Item format for all visits and SalesForce.com for scheduling and reporting.
. Promoting additional CDK products and services with clients while partnering and communicating with Sales on all client activities.
. Sustaining relationships with client base through regular follow-up and expected site visit or virtual session frequency.
. Coordinating resolution of any outstanding technical CDK Product issues with Support or other appropriate sources.
. Completing accurate agendas and reports within the required timeframes and managing client records in Salesforce.
. Assist and provide direction to other Performance Management Consultants as needed.
Qualifications & Job Requirements
. 4 year college degree or equivalent experience.
. 3 plus years automotive retail experience or twelve months experience as Performance Management Consultant I or related position.
. Strong computer skills with current technical knowledge, i.e., proficiency w/MS Office (Excel/PP).
. Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
. Adhere to all Travel and Expense policies, submission of weekly expense reports, eTime sign-off deadlines, mandated training, and other policy requirements.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES & Qualifications
. CDK product knowledge.
. Knowledge of automotive, dealership workflow, and technology industries strongly preferred.
. Ability to work independently
