Scope of Position: The Performance Improvement Quality Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services within our hospital facility.# Leads and manages various quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of quality improvement projects within the hospital. Develop project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and successful project completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and support staff, to implement quality initiatives. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain processes for monitoring and evaluating the quality of patient care delivery. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality deficiencies and enhance patient safety. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity for quality enhancement. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing project progress, outcomes, and performance metrics. Utilize data-driven insights to drive decision-making and prioritize quality improvement efforts. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, department heads, and administration, to foster a culture of continuous quality improvement. Facilitate interdisciplinary meetings and forums to promote communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among healthcare teams. Serve as a resource and subject matter expert on quality-related issues, providing guidance and support to staff at all levels. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor#s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or related field; Master#s degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement or project management, preferably in a hospital setting. Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDCA. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with experience in healthcare analytics preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and facilitate group discussions. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive change initiatives. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety principles.
