This position will be a recognized resource to develop, collect, and analyze data for risk and vulnerability factors to support the effectiveness of the Performance and Improvement Program for the Child and Adolescent Services. Assures compliance with Joint Commission Standards, CMMS, and Medicaid Regulations, DCH policies and State of Michigan

Administrative Rules and Laws that apply to Hospital-Child and Adolescent Services.

This position will collaborate with clinical and administrative staff in maintaining and pursing high quality standards of care. Responsible for collection and submission of the required data to National Research Institute related to comparative analyses and performance measures.

Recognized resource responsible for the coordination of continued stays with private insurance companies and Community Mental Health for the adult and pediatric sections of Walter Reuther Psychiatric Hospital. This position will serve as the hospital liaison regarding the process of obtaining and maintaining insurance authorizations for the entire hospital and will provide oversight and staff support to the various departments involved.

Education

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Experience

Departmental Analyst 9

No specific type or amount is required.

Departmental Analyst 10

One year of professional experience.

Departmental Analyst P11

Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.

Departmental Analyst 12

Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.Departmental Analyst 9 - 12
