The Performance Excellence Consultant (PEC) builds capacity across the organization by leading complex, cross functional projects that transform our business processes resulting in improved quality, consistency, and efficiency of scale. The PEC uses a proven process improvement methodology to drive process improvement and operational excellence while institutionalizing best practices focused on process creation and continuous improvement creating a culture of excellence. The PEC leverages resources across the organization while partnering with leadership to organize and lead project teams to improve operations and the organization's overall performance
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading strategic, large scale, cross functional programs that drive business process improvements for TeleTracking.
Builds capacity in process improvement and operational excellence leveraging resources across the team to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency of scale.
Creates strategic alignment of processes and projects that involve more than one functional area
Builds capability and institutionalizes best practices across the organization related to process creation and continuous improvement
Defines and manages process improvement methodology and process library
Leads a virtual team focused on process improvement methodology and execution
Uses data to identify opportunities for process improvement across all business functions. Manages the pipeline of requests for process improvement resources and prioritizes based on development of business case
Monitors the execution of TeleTracking's business strategy, solves problems, and reports results to management
Monitoring execution of TeleTracking's business strategy and risks and reporting results to management.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience. (required)
Six Sigma Green Belt (required); Black Belt (preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
10+ years of cross functional experience in a business setting. Experience managing direct reports or directly managing a business function is preferred
5+ years of process improvement experience including Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
10+ years of project management experience including multi-phase programs involving technology integration with business process
Experience creating and deploying a process improvement program from scratch (preferred).
Strong analytical ability to understand and resolve highly complex problems by applying education and experience-based knowledge
Six Sigma (or similar) process improvement methodologies
Root Cause Analysis tools such as Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, and Pareto analysis.
Strong project management experience specifically on cross-functional projects
Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences at all levels of the organization
Ability to drive consensus on decisions mediate disputes while maintaining a strong working relationship with constituents at all levels of the organization
Ability to prioritize work and execute with little guidance.
Strong detail orientation
Experience working in a software or services business and understanding of key business processes/systems including prospect-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and product lifecycle management (preferred).
