Essential Functions Statement(s)
Prepares and delivers comprehensive Massage and fitness programs based on client's goals
Conducts fitness assessments and demonstrates the value of personal training, including safe and proper exercise techniques while also motivating and inspiring clients to get the results they want through goal setting, frequent follow-ups and re-assessment to show progress
Serves as a liaison between client and outside vendor to develop full comprehensive health and fitness plan
Builds client membership base by conducting tours, education new clients on the web-based app., etc.
Operate, teach and adjust all performance equipment
Ability to demonstrate and perform all client performance programs
Performs other duties as assigned
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in an exercise-related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of personal training experience as a Strength and Conditioning
Coach (Professional, Collegiate or equivalent). Minimum 1-3 years of Massage Therapy Required
Must be computer literate. Basic computer skills required
Certifications & Licenses: LMT in TN Required. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association required. CPR and AED certification preferred. Must be able to obtain within 6 months of employment if you are not certified.
