Prepares and delivers comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals

  • Conducts fitness assessments and demonstrates the value of personal training, including safe and proper exercise techniques

while also motivating and inspiring clients to get the results they want through goal setting, frequent follow-ups and

re-assessment to show progress

  • Serves as a liaison between client and outside vendor to develop full comprehenzive health and fitness plan

  • Builds client membership base by conducting tours, education new clients on the web-based app., etc.

  • Operate, teach and adjust all performance equipment

  • Ability to demonstrate and perform all client performance programs

  • Performs other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in an exercise-related field is required. Masters degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of personal training experience as a Strewngth and Conditioning Coach (Professional, Collegiate or equivalent).

Computer Skills:
Must be computer literate. Basic computer skills required

Certifications & Licenses: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning

Association required. CPR and AED certification preferred. Must be able to obtain within 6 months of employment if you

are not certified.

A typical day for a Head Swim Team Coach could include writing and leading Swim Team Group Workouts according to a season plan. They will develop and coach Swim Team Coaches on their team They will also oversee registering new participants for the Team as well as maintaining the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Creates an educational, safe and inviting experience for all participants * Initiates, develops and maintains positive relationships with participants * Responds to member questions regarding Life Time's programs, policies and procedures * Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area * Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services * Acts as the liaison between the Aquatics Department Head, USA Swimming, Swim Coaches and Parents * Participates in weekly 1 on 1 meetings with the Aquatics Manager * Writes the season plan and workout templates for each season * Enters the swimmers into the swim meet program Position Requirements * High School Diploma or GED * 2 years of swim coaching experience * Member of ASCA and USA Swimming * Safety Training for Swim Coaches certification * Complete LTU Safety Training before first shift * Complete all LTU courses within first 60 days of hire * CPR/AED certification required within the first 3 months of hire * Successfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor Certification * Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time * Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services * Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping * Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs Preferred Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in a related field * Swim lesson instruction experience * 1 year of customer service experience * ASCA Level 2 Certification or higher * Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid Life Time Fitness Germantown TN
