We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

Job Summary:

The adult education literacy (AEL) lead for performance accountability will act as a single point of contact to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) for accountability and student management system questions related to the AEL grant. This position will report to the AEL director.

This is a 100% grant-funded position. Therefore, the continuation of the position is subject to continued external funding.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead grant performance accountability, including data management and reporting.

  • Manage compliance with the Texas AEL Testing Guide, applicable AEL and Workforce Development (WD) letters, and other performance requirements.

  • Support coordination of data collection and performance reporting for discretionary innovation projects funded by the TWC to expand new service options.

  • Serve as the point of contact for staff for program questions related to accountability, assessment, and data management.

  • Submit questions to TWC related to accountability, assessment, and data management as needed.

  • Ability to evaluate and consolidate data and use spreadsheet programs

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of experience managing data collection and reports and leading performance accountability.

Preferred

Master's degree. Deploying grant-funded projects.
