Perdue Corporate Interns must:

  • Be currently pursuing a Bachelors Degreeat an accredited university in a relevant field of study.

  • Must be a Rising Junior or Senior.

  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher. 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, have strong communication skills, including written and verbal.

  • Must be able to work independently or in teams. Some positions may require travel to other facilities.

VIEW JOBS 11/17/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-15T00:00 Serves as the administrative resource for direct material purchasing by successfully fulfilling the following:  ensures timely payment of vendor invoices for raw material and copack purchases; monitors various systems to proactively resolve issues related to purchasing and contracts;  maintains all required supplier approval and certification documentation and all required ingredient technical documentation; creates transactions supporting procurement cycle for raw materials, copacking and other assigned categories; prepares contract documents and coordinates the contract approval and signature workflow; prepares various reports using purchasing systems and Office Suite.  .1.  Prepares and maintains SAP purchase orders for raw materials, copacking and other assigned categories. 2. Produces daily SAP open orders reports and resolves any related issues. 3.  Ensures efficient and effective resolution of all invoice payment issues. 4.  Maintains all required Supplier certification and approval documentation. 5.  Maintains all required ingredient specification and approval documentation. 6.   Prepares the necessary Purchase and/or Service Agreements as assigned and coordinates the workflow of these documents. 7.   Ensures compliance to all company requirements within assigned areas of responsibility. 8.  Prepares various reports using SAP, Excel, Ariba or other purchasing systems. REQUIRED:  AA degree in Business Administration or related area plus 1 -2 years of administrative experience. Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and communication skills (written and oral).  Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel).    PREFERRED: Proficiency in SAP.
