Step into an exciting newly created role at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. As an patient care svs woorkforce coordinator within our industry-leading OR Dept. you'll assist with maintenance, training, operation and support of Timekeeping, Scheduling, Payroll, Attendance, Leave Tracking & Labor Analytics.

In this role, the Assistance Workforce Applications will provide support in the Timekeeping and Scheduling application, specifically on the support for ADP Payroll system. Activities include and are not limited to troubleshooting user requests or issues, performs routine system maintenance, conducts independent training with end users, resolving data and interface errors, testing of system changes reporting from ADP and HR systems and tools with special focus on time related data.You'll develop functional skills by answering calls to the timekeeping Help Desk, resolving issues, conducting routine system maintenance and enrolling employees in the workforce system. This is a full-time day shift position located in Flushing, NY.

Required Criteria

  • Working knowledge of ADP preferred

  • Minimum of one-year experience with Payroll, Timekeeping and Scheduling

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Basic computer literacy and proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

  • Detailed oriented and able to comprehend and interpret coded schedules

  • Excellent communication skills

As a part of the Magnet- designated Nursing team, you will provide essential support to the nursing staff at MSK, while working to ensure comfort for our patients. YOU WILL: * Go above and beyond to assist our patients in a timely, efficient and courteous manner * Handle acutely ill patients in `stressful situations with grace * Be responsible for taking patient vital signs, Phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collections * Collaborate with the clinical team, providing assistance with procedures where needed * Work under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse * Utilize basic computer and data entry skills YOU ARE: * An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing your conversations based on that understanding * Excited to work as part of a care-giving, patient-centered team, capable of building strong relationships and delivering patient-centric solutions * A problem-solver, eager to take initiative in new situations and tackle tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm * Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively to meet shared goals and objectives * A quick learner, with the ability to apply insights from past efforts to new situations * A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward YOU HAVE: * A High School diploma or equivalent education * At least 1 year of patient care and venipuncture experience (required) * 5 years of patient care, customer service and leadership experience (preferred) * Certification from an accredited Nursing Assistant or comparable training program (required) HOURS: * Fulltime hours: 7:00pm to 7:30am M-F with weekend rotation.
