Position Summary:

Reporting to the NICU Nurse Manager, the Equipment Aide is responsible for cleaning equipment and supplies; stocking and ordering unit supplies; operating hospital equipment as directed; maintaining an organized work environment; assisting with transportation of patients; answering telephones and locating personnel and visitors to the unit as appropriate and needed; and other related duties as assigned.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $17.91 Midpoint $17.91 Maximum $17.91

Required Qualifications:

Ability to accurately take and record physical counts of inventory

Ability to learn (training provided) and successfully use various computer-based systems and programs such as TDS and Microsoft Outlook

Ability to use general office equipment including phones, computers, copiers and/or calculators for basic arithmetic calculations

Basic Life Support

Must be available to work overtime as patient care needs demand

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability to read and communicate effectively in English
