The Physical Therapist Assistant is a trained professional who works under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
My commitment will include:
Providing physical therapy services to patients on an intermittent basis in the home in accordance with the physician's orders.
Participating in implementation of the Plan of Care to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Delivering continuity and quality of patient care.
Monitoring assigned cases to ensure compliance with requirements of third party payor.
Promoting compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third party payers, through education, coaching, and other assistance as necessary.
Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program and must be a graduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Therapy Association.
Licensure: Must be currently licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Must have a valid driver's license.
Experience: Six (6) months experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant desirable.
Requires interpersonal skills.
Transportation: Reliable transportation.
