Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is seeking a dedicated General Surgeon to join our established, surgeon-led team at Sutter Memorial Hospital Los Banos. We prioritize physician work/life balance, offering a flexible per diem schedule with 4 to 7 shifts per month and potential for additional shifts in the future.

Position Highlights:

• Outpatient Clinic: 2 days per week with an average of 15 patients per day.

• Operating Room: 1 block weekly with an average of 6 elective cases.

• Emergency Department: 3 to 5 consults per shift.

• Shifts: 24-hour coverage including inpatient and clinic hours.

• Experience: Board Certified General Surgeon with 1+ years of surgical experience, including endoscopies/colonoscopies and laparoscopic surgeries (hernias and colons).

• Skills: Strong communication skills and high patient satisfaction scores.

• Work Environment: Collaborative team with a proven record of clinical excellence.

• Schedule: Predictable with 4 to 7 shifts per month; more shifts available in the future.

• Team: Practice with 1.5 physician FTEs.

Requirements

Board Certified General Surgeon

Minimum of 1 year surgical experience
