Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a PeopleSoft Systems Tester to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency HRIS Support program. This position is physically located in either Reston, VA or Washington, DC. The candidate will directly interface with our customer to deliver Test support for their customized Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM 9.2 and other HRIS applications.

Responsibilities include maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining visibility with the customer, consistently delivering timely, high quality products and services on current and future efforts, and working effectively with our employees, subcontractors, and the Treasury staff in a diverse team environment.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement testing tools and strategies.

  • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.

  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade test scripts and architectures for application products.

  • Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing.

  • Perform quality control and quality assurance activities.

  • Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.

  • Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly

complex software/hardware applications.

  • Excellent functional documentation skills

  • Excellent listening, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

This position may be filled at a higher level based on the requirements below.

Basic Requirements for Principal level:

  • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD (An additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

Basic Requirements for Senior Principal level:

  • 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD (An additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

Basic requirements for Both Levels:

  • Experience with HRIS or other systems testing technology

  • Basic familiarity with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management

  • Ability to independently organize work, prioritize tasks and manage multiple and changing priorities

  • Ability to work as a member of a team or independently as requested

  • Must be available to provide scheduled and ad-hoc evening and weekend functional support

  • Must be a US Citizen with Top Secret SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PeopleSoft HR experience to include personnel action processing (PAR),

manager/employee self service, performance management, compensation,

AWE, and/or learning management a plus

  • Testing experience or certified via ISTQB or other systems testing/Quality

Certifications

  • SQL skills/HTML/XML or AGILE methodology is a plus

Northrop Grumman Technology Services (TS) sector is seeking a PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future for our Treasury customer. This position is physically located in Reston, VA or Washington, DC. The candidate will directly interface with our customer to deliver PeopleSoft development support for their customized Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM version 9.2 application. The candidate's primary responsibilities include: technical design and development, product development and analysis activities in support of application enhancements and defects (e.g. writing PeopleCode, building or altering PeopleSoft objects, creating/modifying component interfaces, modification of application engines,writing DMS and/or SQL statements, creating SQRs etc.), unit testing, preparing detailed technical design documentation, conducting technical design walkthroughs, conducting peer reviews, and complying with configuration management practices and established development standards. Candidates will be working closely with Functional Analysts, other PS Developers, Testers, and Administrators in an Agile framework. The candidate must have strong organization and excellent communication (written and oral) skills and must be capable of independently managing time and multiple tasks with minimal guidance from senior technical staff. This requisition may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications below.
