PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilizing technical expertise; Creates system requirements, performs design and analysis, and coding and unit testing of complex to highly complex system functionality and/or defect correction across multiple platforms.
Identifies ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
Resolves complex technical design issues.
Provides functional and/or technical guidance in evaluating applications systems or evaluating requests for proposals.
Coordinates changes and influences and prioritizes tasks with business or technical departments.
Analyzes and influences technical, system, and/or user requirements.
Identifies and creates solutions to improve system performance and availability.
Facilitates root cause analysis of system issues to minimize impact and future occurrences.
Creates system documentation/play book(s) and serves as a lead technical reviewer and contributor in requirements, design and code reviews.
Typically serves as a resource to the business.
Develops accurate estimates on work packages and ensures the accuracy of estimates developed by less experienced internal and third party
team members.
Analyzes and designs specifications for less experienced internal and third party team members to execute.
Acts as a technical resource throughout the development life cycle.
May also actively contribute to the technical and soft skills development of team members.
Assists team leads and management with delegation of technical work packages to cross functional and third party team members for execution through the full development life cycle.
Keeps management appropriately informed of progress and issues.
Coordinates system application transition from development teams to maintenance and production teams, and/or constructs and implements necessary controls to assure system/application traceability.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
6 or more years of PeopleSoft development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding
4+ years experience with PeopleSoft modules such as AP, GL, etc.

PREFERRED
4+ years experience with PeopleSoft Treasury Management System
1+ years experience with Tableau or Business Objects
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA
Experience working in the CFO Applications and domain knowledge
Experience in Financial Services, Banking, and/or Insurance Industry
Experience with data integration, ETL, and data tools
Knowledge or experience in Kanban or Agile frame works methodology
Advanced knowledge of production support and return to service activities
Advanced understanding of system architecture and knowledge of software development concepts

We are seeking a Curriculum Developer & Trainer to join our team to focus on our Incode Financials ERP (v.10) software curriculum for municipalities. This role creates and delivers exceptional training content to primarily help our internal teams best assist our clients. You could work across all teams including sales, implementation, product development, and software support. In this role you will update and maintain existing materials as well as create new training content, processes, and work heavily in a train-the-trainer role. Location Plano, Texas Any Tyler Office Preferred, Open to Remote Travel 0-10% Responsibilities * Produces training content for software applications with a focus on organizing content into curricula * Provides structured training to internal employees on software applications * Works with Implementation Manager to provide current training schedules * Focuses on adult learning methodologies, presentation techniques, and course pacing * Implements new employee training plans with assessments for employee development * Certifies trainers on use of curricula * Keeps up-to-date on new software functionality and teaches Professional Services new features * Works with Support to identify areas where customers need stronger training. Uses this information to train internal staff on ways to improve * Works with implementation staff to identify areas where additional training could improve performance * Acts as liaison between Implementation and Development to identify software usability issues * Helps develop content for Summit and User Conferences * Assists with setting up training environments and troubleshooting * Ensures training is developed positively impacting employees who positively impact clients * Uphold Tyler's core values by upholding superior service by committed teams, integrity in everything, intentional innovation and by exceeding client expectations Qualifications * A minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience is required. * Degree preferences are in: Communications, Education, Business, or Accounting * Experience preferences are in: Training proprietary software applications, instructional design for software applications, adult learning theories and practice * Proficient product knowledge in Incode 10 Financials highly preferred. * Understanding of the local government financial domain and experience with other Tyler software applications (Incode 9/ Munis) required * Experience in instructional design/curriculum development preferred. * Passion for creating learning initiatives required * Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and people skills required * Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience preferred * Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization including senior level management * Academically capable and able to grasp highly technical information * Analytical and logical thinking skills * A perpetual learner Tyler Technologies Headquarters Plano TX
