Job Title: PeopleSoft Data Developer
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: 6 months contract with extension

Candidates should be passionate about automation and consulting, cloud computing, and customer satisfaction. Candidates will need to possess deep development / programming expertise, consulting experience and excel at both written and verbal communication.

This position will require:

PeopleSoft Data developers

Ability to mentor and guide junior level professionals

A knowledge of ERP PeopleSoft entities and data structures and Cloud Architecture

Ability to mentor and guide junior level professionals

Experience in Data Migration from PeopleSoft to the Cloud (Successfully completed 2 implementation projects that involved FBDi)

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of applications development experience

Strong understanding of ERP PeopleSoft Table structures

Strong understanding of ERP Cloud Table structures

Working knowledge of JDBC, SQL and database-stored procedures.

Working knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Available for travel when required

Nice to have:

Experience with Agile Methodology

Experience with PaaS solutions ODI, DCBS, JCS

A knowledge of HCM PeopleSoft and Cloud Architecture

Previous experience coding automation tools

Position Responsibilities:

Design, develop, implement, support and maintain complex PaaS Solutions

Perform object-oriented analysis and design applying industry best practices and techniques.

Work with architects to define architecture models and design critical integrations.

Create technical specifications for detailed application design.

Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.

Maintain code quality through unit testing.

Document code appropriately for maintainability.

Conduct design and code reviews to ensure design principles are followed.

Act as mentor to others on programming issues.

Work with team members from beginning of product lifecycle through application release.

Through the development of enterprise applications, UIS supports the University as a whole with systems used by students, faculty, human resources employees, finance employees, and others. This position exists to provide essential consultation to UIS and management regarding PeopleSoft modules. The HCM Developer will review and analyze maintenance and enhancement requests, analyze complex processes to define system enhancements and modifications, and provide technical application support to system end users. This position will also code, test, and implement batch and online computer software and provide technical support to other internal staff. The HCM Developer reports to the Assistant Director of HCM Development and is exempt from the State of Colorado Classified Staff system. Duties and Responsibilities: This position is technical in nature and has the following duties and responsibilities: * Development work, troubleshooting, and production support in a 24x7 environment * Gather and analyze requirements to create technical designs to recommend and implement system enhancements and/or process improvements for business applications projects, including development of new applications and customizations to be integrated with existing applications * Develop, test, debug, modify, and document enterprise application systems * Assist campus liaisons, key users and business process owners by answering technical application questions and resolving reported software and data errors.
