Our People Projects and Change Manager is accountable for the development and implementation of project and change management initiatives. Projects include People Operations total reward campaigns and developing processes and tools to inform and engage the People Operations team. Reporting to the head of People Operations (HR) the Project and Change Manager will create and maintain a global integrated calendar of events and outreach, provide cross-functional program and project management for complex initiatives and coordinate the messaging that supports those initiatives. This is a highly-collaborative role, working with and influencing teams across People Operations, Corporate Communications, HRIT and Legal.

The role will be based in San Francisco, CA.

What you will be doing:

  • Be responsible for understanding the wide range of communications, training and events happening globally within the People Operations team and maintain an integrated calendar.

  • Synthesize and present the global calendar of events and outreach, considering variances an for different stakeholders. Quantify major areas of overlap and opportunities to integrate messages, e.g. program roll-out, policy updates and training dates.

  • Partner with our project leads and Business Partners to plan and execute effective change and communication materials that engage and inform our stakeholders.

  • Think strategically about how to leverage different channels for engagement of stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of key messages. Work with People Operations and Corporate Communications teams to distill a common voice in our communications and campaigns.

  • Administer key People Operations content, including our internal wiki; measure effectiveness, drive adoption and usage.

  • Document and maintain the People Operations communications playbook, tracking best practices, repeatable approaches and lessons learned. Lead debriefs with a mindset of continuous improvement.

  • Connect regularly with People Operations, Corporate Communications, IT and Legal representatives to help strengthen internal communications systems and platforms, and drive people engagement, awareness, and accountability.

What you bring with you:

  • Minimum experience: Bachelor Degree in a relevant field plus 4 or more years of progressive success within Human Resources, Project Management, Marketing or similar.

  • The ideal candidate has a passion for process and operational improvement and a track record of thinking outside of the box to deliver innovations to better serve employees.

  • Superior project management, planning and time management skills.

  • Excellent change management skills - comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, able to methodically work through complex problems, set priorities and execute on commitments.

  • Demonstrated creativity and out-of-this world writing, layout and editing skills.

  • Sensitivity to local culture / language norms and ability to modify messages to engage a global audience.

  • Excellent at building and managing through relationships across the organization - with peers, upwards, and stakeholders .

  • Fluent with G-suite. Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Works with project team to develop and negotiate EPC Contracts * Regularly represents Project Management Group in forecasting, revenue recognition, and revenue risk assessment meetings * Responsible for supervising multiple teams and employees * Responsible for fulfilling Company quality goals on assigned projects. * Responsible for insuring 100% Customer Satisfaction on assigned projects. * Oversees the management of the system design and construction process for all assigned projects. * Coordinates resource availability and operational needs to ensure that established goals are met. * Responsible for managing cost and schedule goals of assigned projects through project closeout. * Creates, oversees and tracks all schedule aspects for assigned projects, from pre-approval through project close-out to ensure on-time delivery. * Leverages knowledge of system delivery milestones to capture reduced construction costs wherever possible. * Identifies opportunities for and initiates change orders, as required. * Performs risk-analysis /forecasting for assigned projects in order to minimize negative impact on Company * Responsible for overseeing document management for assigned projects. * Ultimately responsible for compliance, safety, and performance on all assigned projects. * May provide day-to-day supervision of more junior project management staff * Directs work of one or more assigned Construction Managers on a per project basis. * Responsible for effective oversight of multiple subcontractors and temporary leased installation labor. * Negotiates and manages sub-contracts. * Is corporate representative to the Customer, permitting agencies, and other project personnel. * Evaluates the performance of more junior projects personnel to provide accurate feedback on the level of performance within the department * May participate in staffing and performance management of project management group Minimum requirements * Bachelors degree or 15+ years of commercial construction, General Contracting commercial electrical contracting and/or commercial contracting experience is required. * 5+ years supervisory or group lead experience is required * Additional experience with Utility Scale Solar electrical systems and wiring is strongly preferred * Strong technical, supervisory, and project management skills based on construction industry experience. * Strong experience with Utility Scale Solar Projects and / or Wind Projects * Experience with Substations and Interconnection Requirements * Strong familiarity with construction and electrical codes * Proven ability to successfully procure, monitor, and assess subcontracted construction functions such as electrical contractors and commercial roofers * Must be computer-savvy - strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project is required.
