We're seeking a dynamic People Partner based in San Francisco to drive growth and facilitate positive change throughout our global organization, with a specific emphasis on our San Francisco office and remote team members in the US. As a key member of our People team, the successful candidate will collaborate across departments to develop and implement initiatives that support individual and organizational goals while nurturing a supportive work culture.

What the role will involve:

  • Act as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for team members and managers across different time zones

  • Offer guidance on policies, benefits, hiring procedures, etc. and provide support for leaves of absence, accommodation needs and other team member requests

  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, including pre-employment screenings, systems setup, and orientation

  • Propose and implement initiatives that encourage collaborative, in-office work at our San Francisco headquarters

  • Manage transactions and documentation related to offers of employment, team member changes, and departures

  • Review and process the semi-monthly payroll and any off-cycle changes in collaboration with the Finance team, while maintaining accurate and complete records of all payroll transactions

  • Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes and enhance team member experiences

  • Assist in developing and implementing scalable People programs, policies, and benefits

  • Develop resources and enablement materials for team members and managers based on a gained understanding of their needs

  • Provide general in-office support related to physical documentation processing, shipping needs, equipment and swag inventories, and general office activities

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external industry partners to execute in-office events

  • Handle ad-hoc projects, reporting and tasks as necessary

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably with a focus on global teams

  • 1+ years of experience in startup or fully remote environments is desirable

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations

  • Able to work independently and make sound judgments

  • Solutions-oriented mindset, capable of delivering effective results within tight deadlines

  • Organized approach to work with attention to detail

  • Quick learner who can synthesize information into actionable recommendations

Location:

This is a hybrid remote and in-office role based in San Francisco.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role ranges from $85,000-$95,000 (including bonus) plus ESOPs.
