As a self-starter with an "owner" mentality, the Site People Operations Manager will lead the Site HR team and serve as the business primary partner to management for Human Capital issues. This position will support our daytime operations.
Maintain Strong HR technical knowledge in legal compliance including state, local, and federal laws, benefits, unemployment, and recruitment. Strong skills in positive associate engagement. Creativity in planning and executing associate activities
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
Create a collaborative team environment
Walk the production floor daily to assess morale and connect with associates
Exhibit strong internal customer service orientation; associate advocate
Partner and provide day-to-day guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Manage site-wide communication related to Human Capital needs and changes as needed (updates / alerts sent out via email)
Draft new policy creation and follows through on its implementation
Partner and plan FC training in conjunction with L&D and other leaders on site
Prepare and maintain appropriate metrics, KPIs on Human Capital issues; report results and trends to leaders
Partner with Talent Acquisition on staffing needs
Manage the Talent Development process
Manage the Talent Management process.

Conducts STAY interviews and works with area leaders to develop area action plans
BS in HR or related field
PHR / SPHR or SHRM certification
Previous leadership experience with progressive growth in the HR disciplines
Demonstrated experience resolving complex employee relations issues
Bi-lingual (English / Spanish)
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
Demonstrated ability to design and follow through on the execution of policy, program or practice
Adept at using MS Office suite; ability to operate HRIS and timekeeping software as required.
Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment; Previous experience in fulfilment center environment.
Excellent relationship building skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to de-escalate issues
