People Operations Manager
The People Operations Manager is responsible for building, maintaining and refining the GoPro policies, programs and infrastructure that support GoPro people and culture.
Operating with the highest integrity and modeling collaboration, discretion, strategic and thoughtful leadership, you will be a resource for all employees and a confident subject-matter leader in People Team processes and programs. A team coach as well as an individual contributor, you will Lead a high-caliber "people first" focused global team of People Operations Coordinators and Generalists.
Ensure broader People Team in global locations maintains systems standards, internal and external documentation of People Operations processes, and GoPro brand and culture across locations.
Lead and execute Mobility and Immigration programs, ensuring GoPro employees feel safe and supported through the visa application and renewal processes
Own New Hire Orientation in all GoPro locations and partner with GoPro department leads and presenters to refresh and provide creative content.
Champion collaborative cross functional relationships with Recruiting, IT, Workplace Services, Payroll, and hiring managers to ensure the successful onboarding/offboarding of new employees and contingent workers.
Manage companywide initiatives, documentation, and trainings. Partner with Legal on compliance with all applicable regulations.
Ensure People Operations audit and control processes are developed and followed in compliance with local data privacy laws, US wage and hour laws, SOX, local country regulations and internal HR, Compensation, and Benefits policies and procedures.
Analyze problems, determine approach, compile and analyze data, and prepare reports/recommendation to define People Operations strategy as well as help inform Recruiting, People Systems, Business Partners, L&D and People Leadership strategy.
Skills We're Stoked About
5+ years previous people operations management experience in a complex, fast paced environment
Excellent writing and communication skills and ability to make updates and changes to procedures and documentation as needed
Knowledge of HR practices and principles, with focus on reporting and analytics
Essential technical skills: HRIS (preferably Workday), Excel, Word, Sharepoint or wiki experience
Ability to gracefully handle competing priorities simultaneously
Maniacal attention to detail and proven ability to create simple, sustainable and organized processes
Outstanding follow through, self directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Strong time management skills and ability to make judgment calls
Work well in a highly collaborative environment and open to give and receive feedback
