Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual who is keen to make an impact within a growing startup. As the first member of our People Team, the People Ops Generalist will work with business leaders to drive People, Operations, and Recruiting initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the people, teams, culture and have excellent organizational and project management skills. He or she should be smart, solution-oriented, resourceful, diplomatic, professional, and places high value on integrity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and hiring to offer letter generation to onboarding to offboarding
  • Lead recruiting initiatives end-to-end: maintain a best-in-class candidate experience, manage the talent pipeline, communicate with candidates and hiring teams to ensure delivery against goals
  • Manage and shape the organizational brand on recruiting outlets like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, internal career pages, etc.
  • Support the operationalization of their people programs (performance reviews, compensation, promotion process, etc.)
  • Handle all day-to-day HR responsibilities of a small, but growing organization, including addressing employee questions, maintenance of employee records, and ensuring compliance with regards to annual reporting, labor and law updates
  • Maintain and administer benefits and programs (including but not limited to insurance, 401k, immigration, disability, workers compensation, COBRA)

Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in recruitment and hiring
  • 3+ years experience in HR / People Operations as a Generalist or Specialist
  • Must be fluent with HR/Recruiting tools and technologies (Greenhouse.io, TriNet, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other business tools
  • Strong attention to detail within the context of a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent people, empathy and EQ skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
  • Project management very important
  • Experience managing complex visa processes is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in a related field
  • Experience working in a startup environment
