What You'll Do: HRIS Admin, Compliance, Analytics, Sourcing Candidates

The People Operations Generalist will play a crucial role in providing day-to-day administrative support of the People Operations function, including various initiatives to support the growth of Xsolis and our team members. As the People Operations Generalist, you are uniquely positioned to support an employee's full lifecycle through sourcing of candidates, onboarding, HRIS administration & analytics, human resource compliance, and employee retention programs.

This position requires a critical thinker with a passion for supporting our team members and experience in the healthcare and/or tech industries.

The People Operations Generalist will work closely with their People Operations team members to improve the People Operations function and processes, supporting the improvement of engagement and retention of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

People Operations Support:

  • Manage the administration of the Human Resources Information System to include contractors, ensuring accuracy and standardization with an eye for identifying themes in data analytics.

  • Completes the input of compensation and pay related information into the pay grid within the HRIS, working closely with Finance for payroll processing.

  • Ensure all personnel-related data records are accurately maintained, and all employment requirements have been successfully met.

  • Develop new or improve HR processes, forms, checklists to maximize efficiency, reduce redundancy, satisfy legal requirements, control costs, and comply with business conduct guidelines.

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Support Talent & Performance Management processes.

  • Assist with the processing of terminations, including sending and reviewing exit surveys.

  • Complete employment verification requests.

  • Generate and present reporting data from our HRIS to support decision making from our People Operations Team.

  • Primary point of contact for internal people operations inquiries from our Xsolis team members - answering questions and providing advice, escalating as needed.

Hiring & Onboarding:

  • Provide new employees with a positive start to their employee journey through the onboarding process, from their offer acceptance through their first day of employment.

  • Lead orientation for new employees and proactively look for ways to enhance the experience.

  • Assist in talent acquisition through recruitment processes such as sourcing candidates, posting positions, drafting offer letters, and scheduling interviews.

  • Work closely with hiring managers to support their development of job descriptions & identify key competencies for roles in their department.

  • Leverage social media, job boards, & professional networks to source candidates.

Benefits Administration:

  • Assists with inquiries related to a leave of absence and engages in dialog with a third-party vendor to assist with processing as needed.

  • Tracked and administered, FMLA, ADA and Workers Compensation

  • Tracking and administering approved Life Events.

  • Track & process educational reimbursements.

  • Administers & communicates benefit registration through Employee Navigator to include the payroll input of HSA enrollments.

  • Review and respond to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation. Review monthly unemployment statements.

Key Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

To be successful at this position, you must be customer service driven with a keen attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and have the capacity to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3-6 years of People Operations experience in a fast-paced, high growth Healthcare/Tech setting.

  • Strong computer skills, including an above average proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excell and PPT.

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, both one-on-one and in a group, and the ability to listen and respond to questions effectively.

  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement & passionate about the candidate experience.

  • Self-motivated & assertive - ability to seek out answers, drive solutions autonomously, & deliver results.

  • Ability to build strong relationships & collaborate with all members of the team.

  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
