About This Role
The People & Culture Assistant is a great role for someone who wants to immerse themselves in all aspects of People & Culture. This role will support the P&C department's initiatives and ensure the effective handling of day-to-day administrative and operational functions when it comes to People Operations, Learning Talent & Development, and Talent Acquisition. You will collaborate with the Senior People Operations Specialist to spearhead projects and tasks that arise. This position will not only be a trusted point of contact for the team but the entire company.
On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include
Serving as a trusted point of contact and company culture ambassador for all internal and external stakeholders.
Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders by overseeing, triaging, responding to, and escalating Salesforce ticketing system queries and other questions, as well as interfacing with external stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner.
Supporting the payroll administrative process for employees.
Assisting with the onboarding and off-boarding processing and administration.
Maintaining personnel and other HR records for all employees through HR management software with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Ensuring the timely completion of government verification requests.
Serving as the initial point of contact and subject matter expert for the learning management system (LMS) and other learning support technologies.
Coordinating and supporting day-to-day operations for training programs and related training events.
Providing back-up support to Administration with front desk coverage and duties.
Assisting the P&C team with various ad hoc projects or requests.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in human resources or business strongly preferred
1+ years of experience in human resources
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills
Willingness to be a proactive partner in a collaborative team environment
Strong problem solving, critical thinking and relationship building skills
Comfort and flexibility in taking on new tasks or projects, and lending a hand in and outside your immediate team
Ability to (re)prioritize and multitask effectively, picking up where you left off without missing a beat
Ability to learn and retain information quickly, and understand state-specific employment laws, guidelines, and regulations.
Ability to learn interpret and educate others on complex legal or regulatory documents
Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams)

Hours & Compensation
This is a full-time position paying $ 23.12/hr - $32.42/hr. The hourly range represents the anticipated low and high end of the hourly range for this position. Individual placement within a salary range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to candidate experience, knowledge, individual, skills, and organizational performance.
