Here at Peakon our People are our most important asset, so much so that our strategic objectives are based on our employees and manager experience. The HR teams main focus is to support the business delivering on these objectives and provide full support as we scale Peakon across the world. We are now building the HR Business Partnering team to work alongside departments on achieving their departmental goals. This role will be working with the commercial teams in the US to support leaders and employees on their Peakon journey. You will work closely with the wider People team on the people strategy to then roll out across your departments. We are looking for a self-starter as you will be working autonomously to deliver the initiatives but have a passion to be best in class and strive for excellence. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Partner with managers and leaders to offer thought leadership on how to develop and implement the right people and organisational solutions to execute against the business strategy
  • Lead the facilitation and management of all people programs rollout within your departments: Career paths, succession planning, Peakon in Peakon, performance management etc
  • Work closely with the business partnering team to define appropriate people initiatives and plans
  • Prepare presentations and data/insights analysis working with other business partners and subject matter experts as required
  • Support managers and leader throughout forecasting and budgeting process to ensure we have the correct org design to achieve business goals
  • Employee relations: promotions, internal transfers, separations, redundancies etc (when necessary)

Requirements

  • 6+ years of HR experience in an international fast paced organisation
  • Able to influence, coach and drive impact through effective working relationships
  • You must have experience of performance management or talent/team development, org design and change management, leadership coaching and data and insights analysis
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and business acumen

What We're Looking For: The People Business Partner will work to deliver outstanding employee experiences through projects and processes that seek to improve employee lifecycle. This role will help develop and improve programs and policies and automate processes. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a positive attitude and exhibits patience, teamwork, critical thinking skills, and emotional intelligence. Business Partners have a broad knowledge of People/Human Resources functions, from hiring and onboarding to employee compensation and evaluation. This role will be responsible for driving a diversity of HR efforts, focusing on programs like learning and development, employee engagement, and retention. You'll undertake a wide range of tasks like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves. You will use our Human Resources Information System to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You'll also act as the main point of contact for employees' queries on People-related topics and champion our company culture. At Domio You Will: * Advocate for the employees across the organization to make their experience seamless by assisting throughout the employee lifecycle * Own projects in support of the employee experience including employee mobility, immigration, and inter-company transfers * Be a trusted advisor in all sensitive People areas such as employee relations, investigations, leaves of absences, and compensation * Partner with the team to develop manager and team trainings focused on development, culture, and career progression * Act as the People Partner to the Hospitality Field operations business unit * Administer compensation and benefit plans * Perform orientations, conduct employee onboarding, and help organize training & development initiatives * Handle inbound employee inquiries, identify needs, process necessary transactions in our ATS and HRIS systems, and escalate issues * Partner with client group through core HR processes (e.g., performance management, compensation planning, engagement surveys) * Proactively manage legal risk - ensures manager and employee compliance with company policies and governmental regulations * Proactively respond to employee questions regarding but not limited to the following: employee relations, company policies, learning and development, leaves and compensation and resolve/escalate any issues that may arise * Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics (e.g. time to hire and employee turnover rates) * Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks and issuing employment contracts Who You Are: * 5+ years of People Operations/Human Resources generalist experience required; more experienced candidates will be considered for other HR department roles as available * Experience with full employee lifecycle * Strong employee relations experience * Experience working on projects focused on the enhancement of the employee lifecycle through process improvements, automation, data, and insights * Prior experience in Shared Services and/or as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced start up, technology company, or complex global organization * Strong mindset for continuous improvement and exceeding client expectations * Analytical skills, including reporting and synthesizing data to identify themes and create solutions to address those issues Our Perks: * Competitive salary * Medical, dental, vision, life insurance and more * 401(k) * Unlimited vacation and flexible work-from-home policy * Travel discount when booking Domio properties * Learning & education budget, free books, and classes * Fitness stipend * Catered lunches every Friday * Team bonding and offsite events * Dog-friendly office Domio is an equal opportunity employer!
