We are looking for a Global Human Resources Business Partner Director to be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and to align People initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational success. This position will provide strategic guidance and support on the following aspects of HR: talent management, employee engagement, performance management, total compensation, organizational design, and culture development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the business objectives across all geographies (North America, Middle East and Europe).

  • Serve as a strategic partner to leadership on HR-related issues, acting as an employee advocate and change agent.

  • Provide input into IonQ's total compensation initiatives and guidance to business partners on total compensation related questions.

  • Design and implement programs related to talent management, culture, employee engagement, org design, and performance management.

  • Assess and anticipate HR-related needs, communicating proactively with our People Team and business management.

  • Analyze people analytics trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies to improve organizational health in the areas of the business that you support.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee engagement issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Provide guidance and input on business unit reorganizations, workforce planning, and succession planning.

You'd be a good fit with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a business partner role.

  • HR experience in the Tech industry.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, supporting international organizations, compensation, talent & performance management and employee relations.

  • Willingness and ability to "roll up your sleeves" and create/execute work while also being a strategic thought partner.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.

  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • High level of integrity and management of confidential information.

You'd be a great fit with:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Org Development or a related field.
  • 2+ years experience in a compensation role.
  • 2+ years experience setting up employees in new entities/countries and/or involvement in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Location:

  • This position is located in our newest facility in Bothell, WA.

The salary range for this position is $154,883 - $201,972.
