This is a unique opportunity for a professional who is committed to providing top-notch care and is well-versed in dealing with conditions related to the pelvic floor.
This role requires a deep understanding of the human body's musculoskeletal system, a patient-centric approach, and a dedication to ongoing professional development - however no previous Pelvic Health experience is require but you must be interested in the specialty and willing to learn Responsibilities: 1. Evaluate and diagnose patients with pelvic floor disorders, utilizing a comprehensive and patient-centered approach. 2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals. 3.
Provide hands-on manual therapy, including internal and external pelvic floor therapy. 4. Educate patients on pelvic floor dysfunction and provide them with strategies to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life. 5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a comprehensive care plan. 6.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. 7. Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in pelvic floor therapy, incorporating new techniques and approaches into practice as appropriate. 8. Participate in professional development activities, including conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, including both internal and external pelvic floor therapy.
Strong understanding of the human musculoskeletal system and the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning. Experience with electronic medical records and documentation software. Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care, with a focus on improving quality of life.
